A digital read-out version of a Classic Moisture Probe.The G-9 is designed to measure moisture in a wide range of loose material. It can be used for measuring moisture in woodchips, in sawdust and in most other biomass type material.

This hand-held moisture instrument can be used in storage piles and can be used to check a loaded truck. Because it is portable and gives instantaneous readings , you can easily take several moisture readings in different parts of the storage pile or truck load.

Its back-lit digital display is easy to read. The digital readout response follows the readings of the probes in seconds.

The G-9 operates by measuring moisture between two probes. the probes are approximately an inch apart and 6 inches long. These probes can be easily inserted into most loose material.

It is one of the most most flexible units available. A selection of G-9 measuring heads is available to accommodate a wide variety of materials and a full range of moisture percentage. It is one of the few probes that will availability measure moisture above of 40%.

The technology has been used for many years in a analog readout basis.. This is the first time the company has developed a digital version of this old standby moisture probe called the G- 9 Moisture Probe.
